Sarah had grown accustomed to the quirks of her old house, but one night, the creaks and groans took on a sinister tone. Footsteps echoed from the attic, growing louder and more insistent. Ignoring it was no longer an option.

Armed with a flashlight, Sarah climbed the creaking stairs. As she reached the attic door, the footsteps ceased. Steeling herself, she pushed the door open.

The attic was dim and dusty, the only object an old mirror shrouded in a sheet. But as Sarah approached, she noticed something odd – a reflection of herself standing behind her, despite being alone.

A chill ran down her spine. She spun around, but there was no one there. Turning back to the mirror, the reflection had shifted. Now, a figure loomed behind her, its eyes dark and hollow. Sarah whirled around again, but the attic remained empty.

Panic set in. She fled the attic, slamming the door. That night, Sarah secured every lock and checked every window.

But as she huddled in bed, the footsteps resumed – this time, coming from within her own room.

Has Sarah awakened a malevolent presence, or is her house merely playing tricks on her? The haunting footsteps and the mirror's ominous reflection leave her with more questions than answers. As the nights grow darker, Sarah must confront the evil that now shares her space.
